Waves of Words Mini-Writers Conference Sept. 5, 6, & 7, 2014

OK, I know I should have posted earlier, so people could come to this.  But, there will be more Waves of Words events in the future.  Original flyer:

A friend of mine asked to hear more about what went down this weekend...

We, some of the authors and Ena Myers (VP of Waves of Words) manned the Waves of Words for the three days of the Ocean Shores Associated Arts Art and Craft Show.  I had fun this weekend participating in the planned events.  On Saturday night we had a round robin make-up-the-story-as-you-go event, which was hilarious and involved butterflies with switchblades, among other things!  

Then we had readings of our work.  Then we "acted" out my play "Surf and Turf," which was also a lot of fun and personally rewarding to hear read out loud.  All these events were at The Galway Bay Pub in Ocean Shore; they graciously lent us their Tasting Room and Beer Garden.
