All my creative work.
"I'll do it tomorrow,"
is replaced with, "Someday."
It's OK. Really.
Some mornings, I'd rather
just color, mostly within
the lines, in somber purple
and grey.
I want to quilt, crochet, sew,
make bookmarks, even write.
Liz, my Barbie doll, still needs
a coat or blanket, sitting there
in her summer clothes, shivering.
I spend too much time
hunting for bargains
on the web.
Not a whit grateful
for what I already have.
