Connection
To church again,
these familiar faces.
I'm not really close
to any of them.
For that I'm sorry.
Maybe I could
reach out.
To get beyond
the small talk
of the congregation
and the big talk
of the pastor's sermon
to the middle way.
Instead of finding a friend,
maybe I can be one.
Maybe.
