The Milky Way Galaxy Blues
They must be aliens
from another galaxy,
furry or smooth.
Animals, they look at you
with such wisdom.
But we're stupid humans,
no denying that.
Feathers or fins,
more than just another
species.
I know
I know that I share
most of my DNA
with Redwoods
and Weeping Willows,
even more with Groupers
and Gorillas.
Then again,
maybe we're the aliens.
Do you ever get the feeling
you don't belong?
Every day.
Every single day.
